Kali Manley Memorial Web Site

"There once was a girl, who had a little curl, her name was Kali Mae" . . . . . KMM

Kali Mae Manley was a 14-year-old freshman at Nordhoff High School, Ojai, Ca. She was reported missing early Christmas week 1998. One thing lead-to-another and by December 22nd an all out search for the missing youth began. Together with the local Sheriff department's search and rescue-- family, friends, and hundreds of volunteers began searching Ojai and neighboring areas. The search continued day-in and day-out until the afternoon of December 26th, when the later admitted killer lead the local DA and detectives to her naked, strangled body, which was left in a drainage pipe in the mountains above Ojai.

Hoping to keep Kali's memory alive students at Nordoff High together with the Leo Club(student group), and other volunteers began a memorial.  The memorial serves as a covered trolley stop at the edge of the Nordhoff High School campus, and was officially dedicated in January of 2001. This site serves as a reference for those that would like to know more about the memorial at Nordhoff.

This web site also serves as a memorial for Kali and documents her life and the events surrounding her death. The site is dedicated to Kali and the parents of murdered children. Thanks to OjaiRoy who obtained the domain name and donated it to the Manley family after building and maintaining the site.
